   A Filter is a pre-built effect that you apply to entire images, individual Layers, or Selections.
   
5. How do you reduce the effects of a Filter after it has been applied?
   
   Select Edit/Fade Filter Name. The Filter Name will be the name of the last Filter you used.
   
6. What is the best color mode to use when you need to use Filters?
   
   RGB gives access to all of Photoshop's Filters.
