This section contains a lot of information.  It’s important to familiarize yourself with the Toolbox and the Palettes before proceeding with the rest of the material.  You might find the Preferences information of additional value after you’ve mastered Photoshop’s workspace.  The two most important Preferences are Units & Rulers.
