In this chapter you will be introduced to what JAVA is, and how to add JAVA Applets to your web pages. You will also be introduced to JAVA Script, and how to add it to your web pages.

Prerequisites

• Internet Explorer 3.0 or greater (IE 3.0 Supports JAVA with limited support for JavaScript)
• Navigator 2.0 or greater
• Java is Platform Independent
